3M Easy Change 16″ Buffer Discs are the same material that the 5″ gold hookit II discs are made out of. The reason these work so well is the grains are so uniform and make an amazing scratch pattern, virtually no scratches at all. These discs are attached to an spp pad. Imagine these discs as an upgraded screen, sand well with less scratch pattern. If you are sanding a hardwood floor , these are great to use on the buffer.

I started using these 3M 16″ Easy Change Buffer Discs after using the gold hook it IIs. This material is my favorite for final passes, leaves the floor scratch free and ready for final coats.
