What Makes Wood Flooring Supply Unfinished Red Oak Hardwood Flooring “Premium”?
The flooring we provide is of the utmost quality. Our unfinished red oak flooring from the start you will notice is milled with incredible accuracy. The milling hardwood flooring is very important and really ensures a great end product. Bad milling (which you see on most products sold at home depot, online closeouts etc) not only wastes wood – your floor will not last as long. The tongue and groove are imperative to be right for a long lasting floor with zero problems. Another important aspect is how the wood is dried which affects the boards straightness and how much the wood could move season to season. Our wood is kin dried correctly according to NWFA standards and with years of knowledge. The last thing we think is very important is wood with not all shorts. Our wood offers 1-8′ rnadom length boards.
You will notice how the boards are all straight, milled properly and offer little to no over/under wood. Little to no over/under wood allows for less sanding. Over / under wood can really make you work to make a floor look good. With less of this you sand less – meaning your floor will last longer since it is thicker!
